Half Dark

In February 2020 I shot 1.5 rolls of 35mm in New Zealand before falling violently ill. When the photos came back from the lab, they were half dark. Devastated at first, I eventually found in these pictures a strange peace: these are remnants of my last time on the road, in a strange place and time before a virus changed everything.
